Admissions Process

Note that our admissions open the year before entry and are done on a rolling basis throughout the year.

After submitting the application, please ensure you upload the following documents:

• Picture
• Birth certificate
• Passport
• School reports for the last two years and current year when available (or EYFS progress checks for applicants who have them)
• Co-signed authorisation if parents are divorced or separated (please contact us directly for further details regarding this document)

A non-refundable application fee of £275 is required to complete your application.

Note: If you intend to apply for a school bursary, please do so at the time of submitting your admission application. 

Once your application is complete, will schedule an interview with a member of our Leadership Team. This interview provides us with an opportunity to get to know each other better and to ensure that our school is a good fit for your family. 

• Families enrolled at Ecole Jeannine Manuel Paris or Lille do not need an admissions appointment.
• Families living abroad: Online interviews can be arranged for applicants and their parents who live abroad.

Once your interview is complete, our Admissions Committee carefully reviews your full application, including supporting documents and interview insights. Families receive a decision within two school weeks.

If your child is offered a place, you will receive a formal offer letter (by email) with instructions for registration. You will have two weeks to confirm acceptance and submit all final forms and documents.

Please note that the majority of children joining us in Nursery turn three by the end of the first term of the academic year. For questions about year groups and age of entry, please do not hesitate to contact our Admissions Office. 

Jeannine Manuel School welcomes non French-speaking students at all levels.

Beginners in English can join up to Year 7.

Admissions at Jeannine Manuel School open in October the year before entry and are done on a rolling basis throughout the year.  However, since the number of places is limited, it is strongly recommended to apply as early as possible. 

Please note that, space allowing, we also accept students for mid-year entry.
