IB Science trip to Epping Forest

A group of students gathers around a teacher on a dirt path surrounded by lush green trees.

Our Year 12 and Year 13 science students took part in the IB Collaborative Sciences Project - a 10-hour interdisciplinary challenge at Epping Forest designed to put teamwork, problem-solving and scientific thinking into action.

Working in teams across Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Environmental Systems & Societies, students brought different perspectives together to investigate a shared real-world issue through a scientific lens.

The challenge wasn’t just about the final results - it was about asking questions, sharing ideas, overcoming challenges and learning from one another along the way.

A fantastic trip and learning opportunity for all.
